Our activities
FMV's main assignment from the Government is to deliver materiel and services to the Swedish Armed Forces. Besides this main task, FMV has assignments from other agencies within the civil security sector.
We also have a number of administrative tasks. They include the responsibilities for patents and standardisation within the defence sector. CSEC, which is the Swedish Certification Body for IT security, is a part of FMV.
The annaual turnover is approximately SEK 20 billion. Our work is carried out in a few different places in Sweden, and managed from the headquarters at Tre Vapen in Stockholm.
