New verion of the Swedish Scheme 2011-11-17

The swedish Scheme is updated in a new version. The new version replaces the previous release and is valid from 17th November, 2011.

The following changes are implemented

SP-002 Evaluation and Certification has been updated in the following ways;

  • A policy for handling certification queues has been introduced. (Section 4.3)
  • All documents that are referred to in Security Targets and Protection Profiles, and which are not publically available shall be included in the delivery of the ST/PP. (Section 4.3).
  • Declaration of independence and impartiality of the evaluators is no longer a required document by application. (Section 4.3)
  • New procedures for maintenance of certificates have been introduced to create a base for giving the certificate validity over time. (Section 7.1)

SP-184 Policy for Certification Queues is a new publication describing CSEC's policy for handling queues of Certification Applications and queues that might arise during simultaneous certification assignments.

SP-188 Scheme Crypto Policy is a new publication that provides instructions for evaluations of Target of Evaluations, with cryptographic functionality. The document includes a list of cryptographic algorithms that may be subject to Common Criteria evaluation, instructions how to define the Target of Evaluations boundaries, and rules for specification of Security Functional Requirements in a Protection Profile or Security Target. The publication replaces Scheme Note 5 and Scheme Note 8.
